Performance conceived during the Covid era; Transfusion takes the form of a ritual that explores states between life and death, rebirth and transmutation. Conceived, directed and performed by Inés Somellera, with Montserrat Cuellar, Karen Sahagun, and music by Keraton Solo (Indonesia).

In 2020, the world was struck by the unknown virus Covid-19, which became the greatest global threat to humanity since the Spanish flu. Across race, class, and wealth, people experienced shared vulnerability, panic, stress, and anxiety. Inspired by ancient cultures that connect us through symbols and beliefs, the performance summons the audience to gather and witness the cycle of life and the joy of liberation. Transfusion was presented as part of the collective exhibition Falsos Positivos at Aranguren House Gallery.
