Recorded in 2003 at a family temple in Mas, Bali, this video documents a performance by I Made Sidja, master puppeteer and dalang. The material is connected to the Ines’ period of study in Bali, during which she learned the foundations of wayang kulit, the traditional shadow puppet practice using carved leather puppets.
